Beginning Yoga Series: The eight limbs of Classical Yoga are explored. Full yogic breathing and body awareness exercises encourage students to begin listening to the body and quieting the mind. Each week a classical yoga asana is taught in detail with great attention to correct alignment. The same asana series is practiced every week, so that by the end of the session the student is able to practice safely and independently. This class is recommended for all participants in Yoga and Health classes. |
